About Me

I am Ron Nugent, a fast learning and eager individual. Previously I worked in the Hospitality Industry for 24 years, and currently attend DeVry University to earn my Undergraduate Certification in Cyber Security. Since the start, I have worked on several solo and collaborative projects. I take pride in the work that I do and in the long-term relationships that I am building. I am a firm believer in working hard, working together, and having fun along the way!  I am seeking an internship to further my knowledge and gain hands-on experience. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and biking.

My wife Diana and I have been married for 33 years this September. We have three children and two grandchildren, who are the loves of our life. I am also very proud to say that I am a veteran of the United States. Over the years, I have seen technology explode, and I have developed a strong interest in the security aspect of technology, more specifically Cyber Security, coding, and programming. So, I decided to go back to school for my Undergraduate Certification in these areas. The answer to your question is "Yes," you can teach an old dog new tricks.
